I finally got my V1.6 X3CE running on X3 3294 V16. At first I had a similar problem after flashing the 3294 bios. The screen would just sit black. The indicators on the front panel only showed Green. No flashing or any other bad indicators. So I opened up the box to check the solder connections and found that I had pinched the d0 wire (gray wire) under the ground pad. I noticed this after I had touched up the solder connections that of course looked good. Any how after reflashing the bios again to make sure, it came up fine. Sweet!! Hopefully this will help anyone who may thinks that everything is good.
