Hey guys, great site and good info, spent all night doing searches and this is where I am at:
I have an xbox 1.0, with an xecutor 2.6 CE Lite, it came with the easybuy2000 1.6 solderless adaptor. I pryed the white board off of the black thing, hooked the black thing to the board and set the d0 pin per the xbox 1.0 d0 location. I put the Xecuter on and attaced just the front panel wire to it and stuck it to the front of my xbox. Front panel is sent for Chip on, flash protect off, Bank 1. I booted it up, got the blue flash 3.0.1 screen, I was able to get to it to flash via http. I flashed it to 3.0.3 and couldnt get it to change from 3.0.1 upon boot up, I switched it to bank 2, and it booted to 3.0.3, but still wouldnt go to the normal dash board. I did some more reading, got evox M8 used a program (forgot the name) to load it into a 1mb bin file. I used that bin file to flash via http and it booted to the xbox screen with a pink EvoX triangle in the corner, so far so good I think. This is where I left off. I guess the next step is getting a dash board on so I can install my 120 gig hd and start backing up some games to the HD as well as copying some save games over. I was having problems getting a boot disk to work. I followed the instuctios on using Yurosofts xbox file to make an iso, I tried in on dvd+ and - but was not able to get it to boot. Any ideas from here on would be much appreciated, thanks a lot!!!
