Checked to see if flash lock was on and won't boot from chip

I had my xbox modded and opened it up to see if the flash lock was on. When I put the chip back in the blue light on it came on, but the switch panel didn't show any sign of life. And I also wasn't able to boot from the chip. any ideas?

I'm having the same problem (mine is the thread listed right below yours) and I got my controller working. It turns out the chip's plug that connects it to the switch is a piece of crap. A few of my pins were bent over causing the chip to short out when I'd boot with it. Also try playing with the different switches until the light comes on.

Is it safe to play my backup Xbox 1 games on my modded Xbox 360 as ive heard somewhere that its not safe to play them on there and you could get banned if i did
