I'd already answered your post.

The v2 360 USBPro is more superior than just a 360USBPro v1 and a CK3.

Therefore if you have the Probe 3, you only need the USBPro v2. I've not seen a pic of your Probe 3 though, so either I missed it or you've not posted it.

Thanks. In an earlier post I said that the probe I got from the same guy who gave me the adapter doesn't seem to be working according to him, so I built a PMT based on a post on this site rather than trying to troubleshoot the probe issue. If the probe 3 that I have is truly not working then I'll use the PMT, assuming that will accomplish the same thing, unless there is something about the xecuter probe that makes it work better with the usbpro. Ubergeek said "probe or hacked PMT"

Just trying to be sure.

Either will work, but unless you're sure that what you have is working you might need to purchase one anyway.

Thank you. I'm not sure about the xecuter probe, but the PMT http://karma.xzibition.com/~CarpeDiem/diy_pmt.pdf seems pretty straight forward.

It is however understand that a home-made probe cannot and will not be supported here.

2 things will get every1 the right results.

1/ read read and read some more on all the info you can,then when ur ready and only then go to step 2


2/ get all the right tools you know you have read about thats going to work and help you getting the results you want

The usb pro v2 is an awesome bit of kit, together with that probe you will not have a problem. Use the auto function in jungle flasher or additional functions and it practically completes the job for you - have fun!

I've seen other comments by n00bs who are frustrated that we get ridiculed in the n00b forum. That's just not good customer service for people who are spending $ on your products, and just plain rude. Sorry.

(I'm feeling blessed because I plugged my drive back in to get the dashboard number and must have reversed the plug because the drive smoked and I assumed I had fried it but all seems good.
