Hey, oldie in xbox modding but new in the whole jtag/rgh and just wanted to see if someone could tell me if I'm ordering all the stuff I need

  • Xecuter CoolRunner
  • Nand-X USB 360 Programmer Kit
  • Xecuter CK3 to NAND-X Update Cable
I've already got an old (uncased) CK3 PRO which should work with the Nand-x thingie if I'm not wrong.

Thanks for your time.

You'll need a coolrunner programming cable from the nand-x to coolrunner. Don't know if it's in the kit. Check with the supplier if the nand-x is already v3.0 if it is you don't need the ck3 to nand-x cable.

Looks fine, but I can't seem to find the nand-x programmer but I might use that site if I'm gonna fix a friends box or so! Thanks

Yes but imo you shouldn't use jtag tool. It doesn't support the newest dashboard and has been a little buggy at times. I advise you use multibuilder instead to build your glitch image.

Oh snap just visited this post again and you're not recommending JTAGTOOL - I used it to make a 14699 freeboot on my zephyr and everything worked just fine.

Care to elaborate what the downsides to using jtagtool are? or point me in the right direction?

Used jtagtool for my zyphyr and i did not get any booting at all (+5 minutes glitching and nothign happend. Wasted 1 hour on cheking other faults...)

Downloaded multibuilder and baaam, everything was ok on the first try, getting into FSD directly!

Noticed that the jtag tool freboot.bin keept info from 6bl/7bl patch1 intact in the nand (with 360 flash dump tool) whilst those areas where grayed out when cheking the nandflash.bin done with multibuilder.
