Hi

Well I'm just posting this to seek confirmation that there is nothing else I can do and to make sure nobody makes the same mistake as me! (plus it will give some of you a laugh ;-))
I have chiped about 6 box's so far (various versions) and screwed this one BIG TIME!
I had problems with Fragging on this one and tried re-soldering the chip/board to cure it, in doing so I messed up the trace on the pcb near D0 and so tried to connect D0 to the leg of the small chip at the other end of the trace.....Big mistake, the chip now resides on the end of the iron!
Looking for a spare board now for my mates box!
This is the first time I have used the small LPC rebuild pcb supplied with the chip and due to the fragging that I couldn't sort out I ended up unsoldering it all and now the box frags from standard DOH.
Frags - Green, Green, Green/Red.
Not a happy bunny!

Regards,

I don't really understand. What happened? Do you have pictures? The board can probably be fixed.

What Happened

No I don't have pics, but I could do some if necessary, to be honest I have pretty much written off the board :-( I will look @ it again soon but been on it for 2 days & am a bit teasey now ;-) need a break & to gather ideas/info.
It just got worse n worse once I tried to re-solder things! now I am minus the little chip which should be on the end of the D0 trace/pcb, as it stuck to the soldering iron! don't have a hope in hell of getting that chip let alone soldering the thing back on! or do i? ;-) Its sooooooo small!
