ok here is my case.... installed the x3 on my 1.6box tap the button and i get the frag, use the power and eject button and i get the frag but when i hold the power button it boots up with the regular ms dash, and the x logo is red with the hdd light flashing blue, i checked my voltage led's and i have good voltage, the red light for non protection is on aswell....looked over my solder it seems to be fine, one thin i did notice, the power is cut off to the chip very easily, when i had the box open i the chip moves real easy (left to right) rocking on the pin header setup, i move the alternate 5v cable and nothing happens but when i touch it real close to the chip then it will cut the power...any suggestions will be appreciated

the bottom joints of the LPC are fine, with the mod chip removed i try moving it by hand and it does not

I am assuming you did a header pin install. I had some what the same prob. You should have two blue lights, right. The blue light nearest to the front is the 5v the light to the back of the chip is tthe 3.3v. I had a heck of with this. I would look at solder points on 9 and 13, this are the two that give me my FRAG. GOOD LUCK.
