Chip Flashes but no rox my box screen

I flash successfuly, but when I restart my xbox, it stutters and goes back the flash bios screen. Is there anything I can do about that, or am I nailed to a wall cause I did something wrong?

if its going to flashbios screen its not flash with bios what bios are you useing should be useing
x3 3294 for v1.0 to v1.5 xbox
x3 3294 v16 plus for v1.6 and v1.6b xboxs
your switch should be set to
on on off off off or off on off off off

I am using X3 3294, and I have a v1.0 xbox. I will try the switch settings.

I have kind of the same problem. I flashed first with evox , following a guide from Xbox scene. After that it started fragging. I checked the soldering, everything was a-ok, so I accessed the 256K backup and this time used x3 bios (I’m pretty sure it was xecuter 3294, since I have a 1.2). Still the ‘fragging’ thing won’t flash, it shows the yellow progress bar, shuts down, but when turn it back on it takes me to the FlashBios menu again. Plus I can’t access memory bank 0011, I can access them individually (1000, 0100, 0010, etc..), off-off-on-on is the only one a can not access (that’s 0011, it’s the same thing, just in case). So if anyone can, please help me out of this, I would hate to buy another X3 (they don’t come cheap you know J)



BTW: The MS bios boots just fine after I disable X3.

when you flashed were your switch set to on on off off off
were did you get bios is it good

I have never heard of a successful flash with an X3 bios going back to flashbios. Check the filesize of your bios that you are flashing (X3_3294.bin) and make sure it is 1024k and not 256k. It could just be a 256k flashbios that someone has renamed to x3_3294.bin

I got it from #xbins, a folder called flashbios 3.0.0_x3_bios. Inside was a bunch of stuff, plus x3_bios (256K) and x3_bios (1024K), I picked the later. And yes the switch was operating at on-on-off-off-off, but I can't get the off-off-on-on-off switching to work. IF the chip is damaged (that's a big 'if', I think) will I be able to return to 'divineo' and ask for a replacement? What do you think? But I hope one of you can help me out, without contacting 'divineo'.

xbox
then
bios folder
then
xecuter
then
xecuter3
in that folder you will see x3 3294.rar dated 1/6/2005
download it
unrar it
then flash the right x3 bios for your xbox
x3 3294 for v1.0 to v1.5 xbox
x3 3294 v16 plus for v1.6 and v1.6b xboxs

Thanks for the tip, I was using the wrong bios. Now is working just fine. Thanks again.
