Chip installed, controller non-responsive

I installed the chip correctly, it boots up, and shows me FlashBios and goes thru whole checklist...

Reads the Diskdrive
Reads the DVD-Drive
Reads the Controllers...

but it wont respond to controller input...

I tried a Wireless Controller and a Madcatz Controllet... are they not supported within the basic X-Box functions or what?

should i just try a regular controller?

or, is there any other issues i could have. i checked my controller ports, and there plugged in and good... i checked all my soldering and connections...everthing looks fine... but is there something i could have gone wrong with to have messud up controllers?

you can not use a aftermarket controller you need a ms xbox controller or a xbox dvd remote will work allso
