Chip not working?

I have searched and found nothin. I triple checked every connection, and when I turn the Xbox on, it acts as if there is not a Mod chip installed. The Switch panel lights do not go on, and the Xbox just acts normal. What is going on?

I have the X3CE with pin 6 pulled out of the pin header, and the 5V connected the the small chip. I also used the PCB rebuild.

did you check the connections with a digital multimeter?

to boot through the chip, yo do you know you have to tap the power button quickly. and to boot through the box press the power button.?

i had this problem when i installed my x3 on my v 1.3 and what it was, was the red power cable was missing so i put that on it worked however when i put insulation on the alt 5v connector it did this agen and this time i found out it was the chip wasnt on properly as some of the pins didnt go in properly so try pushin it a lil more firmly but not 2 hard as u cud break it
