Good point. They halted my order when they added the pro switch and xlcd to the order carts. I was supposed to get an email asking me if I wanted to add these to my order. Never got it. After a lot of bitching I think someone noticed me and shipped my order. It came 3 days later. Very sketchy.

If $62 is all you have, save up a little more and stick with the reputable sellers that truly run their operations like a business.

System-mods.com, and Modchipman.com

I wouldn’t touch any of the others with a 10ft. pole.

Agreed. For the $6 difference you could eat at Burger King once, or sponsor a child in a foreign country. Obviously, you're better off just spending the $6 and saving yourself a HUGE amount of potential angst and emotional suffering should you get jerked around by a disreputable reseller. :)

I had a slightly bad experience with system-mods... I ordered an X2.6 for a friend, and they shipped a week after I had ordered. It arrived a few days later...

Bmmods is my top choice... I don't understand why they're not an official reseller, but I got a good feeling that they will be one of the new official resellers that team xecuter announces this month :D

I've always had my modchipman orders within 3 days. However... they're in Illinois and I'm in Minnesota so we're pretty close. Still, I've always found their service to be top notch.

And for $6 I was thinking sandwich, fries, coke and maybe a slice of pie. :)

Site Cookies?

Ok, so i'm having a problem with the forum "new post" notifications. They stay dark on the site for me for about 10 minutes or so after i've clicked on them and "viewed" them. Is this a problem with my browser working with the new site?

I just know that at the old site, as soon as i clicked a link, the "new" notification would go away. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

thanks for the quick response. I'll try out a bunch of other browsers.

Could be a little bug with Firefox 4.0 RC

I made some changes. all posts should now show as unread as I reset them - however they should mar as read once you read them.

the database also now refreshes the list "read" every 7 days

Things seem to be working better for me now!

Posts turn "read" instantly.

Thanks for all the hard work, Uber.

to give it a clean refresh goto top of the page and select forum actions > mark forums read

This will then show all BRAND NEW posts from scratch and will highlight better for you (as opposed to everything being marked as unread)
