chip started to smoke

I was having problems with my chip shorting out when i realized it was hitting the ram and shorting out so i put sum electrical tape over it and booted it. the chip started smoking in one corner and burt part of it as you can see in this pic

i was wondering if i could just run a wire like this and fix or or if id have to send the chip in for repairs or sumthin.

pics dont work..most likely you fried the chip and ram..but just incase the ram isnt fried the chip is..and there is a very small posibility that just a trace fried and you could jump it...did this on a bad install once..jumped the fried trace..everything was golden

make sure you have you ALT 5v covered up if it isn't already.

its coverd it told me to in the tutorial
its the trace its on thats fried so theres no power going into the chip now

Are they immune to bans with LT on XBL?

No one knows for sure. It is said they aren't affected by AP25 checks, so..... if you ask me, I think that they are safe, but personally I wouldn't risk it. Just wait to see what happens if there's an upcoming banwave this month, which I think there will be. lol

yeah i have a Samsung and put COD in my console and did the update and came back clean but i never played online i was to afraid of a server flag i am going to wait for the next ban wave then play online or more solid confirmation that ur safe with a samsung drive
