chip will not power off

i installed a xecuter 2.6 chip on a 1.6 mobo. works great except when i power the xbox off. the switch leds and led on chip stays lit. any suggestions wilkl be helpfull.

My guess is you didn't remove pin 6 from the pin header. You have to do that, and then use the alternate 5v source.
