Ok, my computers website tells me I have

GeForce 6150 LE

* Southbridge: nForce 430 (southbridge also called MCP51)

I believe this is compatible...then again I am getting ahead of myself.

I am currently following Textbooks guide. So far so good. I took apart my Xbox 360, I know I have a Samsung ms25 drive.

My computer has two Sata ports on the motherboard. Now when I go to msconfig32, and go to components>storage>IDE I get all my good and well COMMMON names like PCI controller and crap. Nothing specific.

Anyway,I am using Iprep 101, loading the ixtreme v1.2b firmware (I believe that is the one I should use, you guys correct me if I am wrong)

Anyway, when I hit List IDE based Controllers, it gives me this

Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller
Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller
Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel

So uh...how the hell do I firgue out which is my SATA device heh?

I am not exactly a computer idiot, so I can provide you guys with more information if needed.

Heh damn you got a lot of slots on your PC... Personally I'd just plug the DVD Drive into one of the Sata slots & put it in modeB or boot into windows and see what happens... Actually I'd go with Primary IDE Channel... But I'm not sure in your case... Just go on run iprep using the Primary and then run idump and see if Xtreme shows up on the list of drives to select from if not then go back to iprep and run it on one of the other Channels.... Do this step again till you actually see Extreme on the list after running iDump
