choppy bios intro now gone bad??

i switched my xenium over to a 1.6 and loaded your 5035 bios onto it, when i loaded the box up the bios into was all choppy and rendered things wrong, then my dash displayed all kinds of wierd geometric things... i thought it was a bios incompatabilty but when i loaded the default kernal for my m$ dash the same thing was now happening.... i don't know whats wrong with my box now? any help?

check the power and ide connections going to the dvd drive, a loose one of these will make the flubber 'choppy'

but it's not just choppy the damn bios isn't even displayed right is has freaky things being rendered uncontrolably on the screen

If it is happening with the mod chip disabled you're right that it is not a BIOS issue. Check your install, and that all connections both for the mod chip and for other Xbox hardware are properly in place. Don't know what the history is on this install but make sure you have not broken traces or solder splashes/bridges. Take Matt's advice and be sure to check the DVD plug. If someone that has been as active as he has in the scene gave me some advice I'd check it out. This is likely a physical problem somewhere in your box.

yeah i've checked and pushed as i have been told by numorous people already.. thanks for the advice though guys, i did like the bios it's pretty cool but this 1.6 is scrap... it's gonna be a llamma...

did you flash the 1.6 version of the bios?
