I've just completed installing a 2.6CE in my 1.0 XBox.
It's working fine - bypass the chip and it boots to the standard bios, leave the chip on it boots to FlashBIOS.
I attempted to flash Bank 1 with EvoX M8 (regular M8, not M8 16), and it appears to either be a corrupted download or an incorrect flash - I'm getting the three boot christmas lights.
If I boot to Bank 2, I get FlashBIOS 3.03, no problems there. Now, I don't particularly feel like hosing myself - if I boot to Bank 2 and then, once booted, flip the switch to Bank 1, can I then re-flash Bank 1 without touching the running BIOS?
