LITEON DG-16D2S ck3 mini and probe 3 problem

ive followed the tutorials
1. Open up JF then select the DVDKey 32 tab with your drive connected.

2. Click refresh (top left of page) now you should see your drive.

3. Now click Phatkey and a prompt will come up.. press yes and start probing point MPX01 untill you see status 0x52 come up in your log (bottom of screen)
This is where i get up too. th ox52 will not come up
im using a 3 probe ,ck mini and a direct sata cable to my desktop.
Would a usb pro make any diference?

a usbpro will make all the difference and you will have no problems in flashing your drive when using this piece of kit

how to use probe 3 to get your Liteon key

CK3 power on

on JF on DVDKey 32 tab

press Phatkey, press Yes

probe switch off (hold button in)(led off)

probe MPX01 point (hold it there)

probe switch on (let go of button)(led on)

extract complete pops up

remove probe from MPX01 point

probe switch off (ck3 power off or hold probe button in ) for approx 5 secs

power back on ,(release probe button)

press ok

all done

any problems , you haven't done it properly


if you can't get it that way , get yourself a X360USB PRO- great product you wont regret it, will solve incompatible sata issues

Did that a million times and never got the 52 msg. Ordered a usb pro, hopefully that will sort it! Will let you know

click yes whil still probing and power off
now release the power off

try in the same order op

hmmm what did i post ????? if you do it slightly out of time it doesn't pop

usb pro will sort it !........... but not if you still aren't getting the timing right
