Interesting…. Can you provide more detailed information of the steps and brand of cable and a picture if possible? Because I'm very interested in your process, considering this autobaud error has been giving my headaches for almost 2 weeks.I just successfully updated my NAND-X using a USB to TTL programmer since my CK3 drivers aren't working.
I used this USB to TTL with these drivers. I cut the DVD power cable header off my CK3 update cable and one end of my pin header cables that came with my TTL. I soldered 3.3v to 3.3v, RXD to RXD, TXD to TXD, and GND and ISP to GND on TTL. Plugged it in and it worked no problem.Interesting…. I attached pictures below.
Yes, same settings in Flash Magic. I used 14.745 as my oscillator.thank you for this i will try this, question did you still use flash magic same setting to flash?
I wish it was that easy for me. :frown:I just updated my NAND-X to V3 using CK3 (rev D) with one wire mod. I used a notebook with Win XP.
1) First attempt I got the autobound error
2) Second attempt worked. With Flash Magic all settled, I turned off/on CK3 in a quickly sucession then clicked at start button. Flash Magic shows “Programing” then “Verifying” message without any errors
3) Unplugged CK3 & Nand-X then plugged the Nand-X in USB port. The RED (power) and ORANGE (standby) lights turned on indicating it's recognized as a properly device.
In the next days I'll try to dump the nand again from a Phat (already had with the old nand version) but I want be double sure it's OK before programing CoolRuner.
I'll back to tell the results![]()
I supposed that you already tried the off+on+start trick with CK3 (this is the way it worked for me). I saw your picture of CK3i and Nand-x and it matches with my connections.I wish it was that easy for me. :frown:
