GENERAL CKi question

Hi all,

I just got my CKi and USBPRO (yeeeeee)! Now I have few question about CKi, USBPRO and JF :

1. JungleFlasher Controlled Power ON/OFF/CYCLE - is this working with JF 1.89 or in some other version? (i will flash liteon soon so I wonder)

2. What is that version "USBPRO V2" and CKi? I see some installation drives for that?

1. you have to check the additional functions box in JF on the dvdkey32 tab
2. the usbpro v2 is the one that is going to incorporate the CK3i into it ..... so only one device

mine is autoticked, can't change it
it just autocycles when it supposed to..saves you doing it ...though i've never noticed it happen before

You mean just to click LiteOn Erase (when I get to that point) and on 0x90 point he will do power cycle?

How you mean "autoticked"?

'autoticked' i have a box with the tick in it , i didn't tick it , did it by itself, i can't change it
the autocycle is only relevant to the ck3i too (which you have)

so, I just install drives for CKi and USBPRO and when i get to that piont I DONT NEED TO DO POWER CYCLE - Cki will do by it's self? I need to be shore about that - not to make mistake and to do when my Cki is sopoust to do that

i don't have one but this is what i have read, written by Ubergeek
Its also fully controllable by JF
fully auto power cycle, power on, power off, tray open, tray close, half tray etc etc
just found this in a tutorial for flashing lt2.0
7. Another pop-up explaining that the drive will be erased and when it sends an intro to the drive to kick it into vendor mode. If you are ready click YES

there will be no harm in not powercycling when you're suppossed too, if you notice the ck3i does not power cycle for you, you simply do it your self and reintro the drive, when FW bank is blank the intro command will not reqiure a power cycle.

if ck3i fail to power cycle the drive, it will have ereased the FW bank but not entered vendor mode. if this happens simply manually powercycle the drive and press intro / device id. it should then enter vendor mode with good flash status.

Just refrashing COM port (mine is on COM 4) and that is all? CKi does power cycle on Liteon drives?

Can you plz tell me more about that function because i didn't use
