Clarification required regarding XGD3 on a Hitachi 59 flashed as Samsung MS28

Havent been able to find the info Im looking for via the search function.

1. Would like to know if one can play XGD3 backups on a Hitachi 59 that is spoofed as a Samsung MS28, running the latest firmware (which I believe is LT 2.0)?

I have a Hitachi 59 based console which has a Sammy in it and works fine, but i just manually spoofed the key, if you do a normal spoof which also spoofs the OSIG then no i believe it won't work.
