Question 1: I'm modding my friends box right now, and I was wondering about using an auto-installer on his just to cut my time down so i dont have to add each app one by one, is slayers auto-installer v2.6 still a good choice?

Question 2: Even though its out dated by 8mo's, I assume since it worked good 8mos it should work fine now, considering wont have up to date version they will still work well, and also if I use the installer first before I use the new X3 Bios 3294, would it mess up anything, or when I flash the new bios it will just write over slayers bios, as long as i flash it to the same bank slayers installer did.

Yes Slayers is still a good choice. When compling the Slayer iso why don't you put the New bios in the media then you can flash from there, if you don't want to use the flashbios. Most things should work although there could be updates for the Applications etc. But generally most things will work.

As far as I know, the slayers DL is an iso file that your burn on a disk. As for adding to it you would have to be able to edit the iso file. I am not sure how to do that. I just simply put the disk in and let it to the install. I updated the apps afterwards by FTP. Slayer's auto-installer is a God send.

There are a few other auto installers, but I have no experience with them. Slayers's is the most used and you will get better help feedback with it. I personally think that it is pretty solid. It gives you so many ways to format your HD and different choices of apps to install.

Use slayers, it has everything you will want. Update any apps that have newwer versions via ftp like jbontke said. Bios has nothing to do with slayers. You can update new bios's all day long and it will not affect your apps. They are totally different things.
