Clean the 360's MoBo

Hey All, I've got a 360 with lots of dust on the MoBo, I tried to blow it but the dust is thick and won't blow away.

So what can I use to clean the MoBo with?

I saw some people clean the MoBo with water, but no way I will run water through the 360 =)

Does rubbing alcohol works? Have anybody here try this?

Don't use alcohol and bloody hell don't use water!

lol I have had my 360 for hmmmm well over a year and mine has hardly any dust inside ..... where do you keep it for it to get that glogged up lol try hoovering your carpet once in a while

get a can of compressed air to get rid of it and for the stuborn stuff use a soft brush like say a paint brush.

Yea ok I will try compressed air and clean paint brush thanks, man, and I was about to throw it in the dish washer then dry it out in my microwave. =)

Also, a vacuum hose with a brush attachment might work.

Man... that must be some damp, thick dust. Even the dirtiest xboxes that i've opened were sparkly clean with 20 seconds with an air compressor.

YES IT IS, actually its not even mine, it actually belong to a friend, it got the 3 flashing red light(you figure why=) I'm trying to fix it for him.

As soon as I opened it, it got so much dust in it, actually its not dust, its DIRT lol, I put my mouth to the heat sink and blow the dust fly everywhere =P

But thanks I went out and got me a can of compressed air, it worked great, except it gets really cold!!

Yeah and DONT, I REPEAT DO NOT tip the can upside down while spraying it, KEEP THE CAN LEVEL, or that xbox is gonna be screwed.

No but the instruction said to hold it up right, which I did.

Even after I clean it, I still get the Ring of Light.

I just did the Eraser Mod Fix method.

Haven't even wait for 20 minutes after I put the XB together & turn it on the light flash green right away, just no picture... I'll have to wait for 20 then check it again.

Erasor method CONFIRMED. It does works. My small bed room smell like burning rubber, but it works.
