Cleaning Xell ECC from nand image

A friend of mine gave me an xbox saying he can't glitch it, maybe he screwed something up. I think he really did.

He read the retail NAND (12625), then he updated the console to 14699 via official system update and flashed it with Xell.
Now the box can boot to Xell, but a working FB image can't be created, since we don't have an original 14699 nandimage.

Can I somehow create a retail 14699 image updating the 12625 nand? Or to replace the Xell blocks in the 14699 with the 12625's retail blocks?
I hope it can be repaired somehow, please help.

Use the 12625 NAND dump along with his CPU key, that should allow you to build a 14719 glitch image ready for writing.

The only thing you will need to change in the image is the LDV, you can do this by putting the correct value in options.ini of XeBuild or change it with J-Runner.

The console's LDV is the number of Fs combined on fuse-set lines 7 and 8 in XeLL.

I created the image changing the LDV in J-Runner as you said, it boots flawlessly! :)

I owe you one, thank you very much!
