Clear Nand Backup before or after starting SX OS Pro | activation SX OS Pro

Hi friends

i am searching for 3 hours, but not find a clear answer.

My question is not how i do the Nand Backup, because there are enough HowTows, but when is the right moment? I have a switch (firmware 3.0.2) and buy a SX OS Pro. Until now the switch is untouched. Im not sure if it is allowed to boot with the dongle and the SD Card (boot.dat on it) in den SX OS Screen to do the Nand Backup. If i boot this, is there already someting installed on the device or is the installation process first when i click on button "Boot custom FW"?

At this moment i still not activate the license of SX OS. Can i "launch external paylaod" (Button Options) for example hekate to do the Nand Backup? Is that then a clear Nand backup or is there someting installaed on my Firmeware when i boot to SX OS Screen? When i have to activate SX OS Pro offline i have to "Boot custom FW" to activate. I mean only then the licens request write on the sd card.

It works with the SX OS 2.3 Beta. I have a nand Backup and copy it to my nas. Now is the question to upgrade my firmware from 3.0.2 to 6.1.0? I decide to do first the emunand. At the moment it is dumping the nand to the sdxc card (firmware 3.0.2) for emunand.

- how can i boot to emunand?
- how can i upgrade emunand from 3.0.2 to 6.1.0?
- is then the original firmware still at 3.0.2 wenn i upgrade emunand?
- which folders i have to rename?
- how can i boot the original firmware?

-In the SX bootloader under other options there is an emunand setting. You just need to turn it on. It will take another backup so make sure you have space. Once it is created, in the SX bootloader above boot cfw you should see emunand. Make sure it is enabled. That will boot to emunand.
- You will need choidujournx to upgrade your emunand. Make sure you are booted to emunand CFW and then run the app. You will need to find the firmware files for 6.1 as well
- If you do it correctly you OFW will stay on 3.0.2 and teh emunand will be updated to 6.1
- Since this is a clean install and you have not loaded anything on the switch yet you should not have copy or rename anything I do not believe.
- Choidujournx will turn on autoRCM. Look that up if you are not familiar with it. That will make it so it will not boot without your dongle plugged in. To boot back to OFW you will need to go to the SX bootloader and select boot original.
