Hi TX Members,

I have some doubts and questions about :- A) Keeping the Sysnand clean. B) If i can use the NAND Backup i have. C) If i'm safe to go online in my current situation.
So i have stopped using my switch for quite a time now becuase of personal reasons, so the versions you will see is a bit old but please keep up with me.

1. My Switch came with v4.0.1/4.1.0 and at that time i took a NAND Backup and then upgraded to v5.1.0 through official nintendo servers.
2. Then installed SX OS and never went online after that.

What i want to do is now (SX OS is updated to v2.9.3) :-
1. Create Emunand and update to v9.1.0 with the help of ChoiDujourNX
2. Restore the NAND backup i have.
3. And then Update the OFW to v.9.1.0 to play my Legit games safely.

Now my query is, can i restore the NAND backup which created on v4.1.0 over v5.1.0 which my Switch currently running on.
Or, should i take a NAND backup after factory reset and restore it before going online & update, will the SYSNAND be clean enough so i can go online safely?
Is the above steps are correct way to go or i need to do things differently ?

You can't restore your 4.1.0 backup, caurse it doesn't have the same fuse count as 5.1.0

If your sys nand will be clean enough if making a system restore, who knows, noone besides Nintendo can really answer that question, keep in mind that when tampering with your console, there will always be a risk for ban

Thanks for replying, is there anyway i can check the version of the backup i took, as it was long way back may be i took Nand backup after I updated to 5.1.0
Or, if i try to restore that NAND backup and it is 4.1.0 will i brick my Switch ?
