Re: Replace drive need help.

Your new drive will be 0251 if you flash it to LT 3.0, with correct key ofc :)

Re: Replace drive need help.

1 - load your old dummy as source

2 - load cfw or stock fw as target

3 - manually spoof source to target

4 - make sure keys match in source and target boxes

lite-on erase, once in vendor mode, write, outro

yes JF will warn you a couple times about erasing and keys, and are you sure

Why would I match source and target when I am replacing the drive with the old one I swear old key has to go on new drive.

load your dummy.bin from the old drive to the source box in jungleflasher

assuming you have already extracted your key (dummy.bin) from the old drive?

I thought I explained it pretty clear even with a picture

and to answer your question the SOURCE being your dummy.bin which has your key and TARGET being the NEW FW (stock or custom) needs to be manually spoofed because your KEY in the DUMMY needs to be inserted into YOUR NEW FIRMWARE

Ok this help explain my issue better.
Also I saw your picture but when you said 4 - make sure keys match in source and target boxes.
I am sure you don't match them as i am flashing my old key.

Is this correct then lite on erase

2 - load cfw or stock fw as target

3 - manually spoof source to target

4 - make sure keys match in source and target boxes

lite-on erase, once in vendor mode, write, outro

the new drive's key needs to be replaced by the original drive's key or it wont work in your console...... original drive's key is source

after dash 13599 all phat liteon drives( including 74850) become 02510C

all that Frayed has said is correct, really couldn't make it any clearer

It's fine I got it to work I understood everything he said.
was just that I always though you had to use the source drive key as the source thanks for the help.

yeh that's correct , your original (old)drive is your source drive , the new drive is the target
glad you have it sorted
