Is it possible to rebuild the entire LPC on a 1.4 board? I ask because I kinda screwed mine up... like pretty bad... the whole thing looks kinda icky.

alright... nm the new LPC right now....

I've done everything again... fixed a couple traces... now I can't get the 3.3v led on the X3 to light up. I've tried using a 3.3v line from the atx connector but the light will not work.

Maybe in all of my trying I fried something?

man, take a look at my thread, under x3 installatiion support,
i had same problem and the header pin seems to be the problem behind the 3.3v led not lighting up.. see my thread.. good luck

STOP! Don't give up your day job. Why don't you stop trying and ask a pro solderer to fit the chip as it looks to me your going deeper into trouble. You may have fried something on the xbox.

The box still fires up without the chip installed....

Kinda a rude thing to say in an INSTALL SUPPORT FORUM....

C2F3 Capacitor

During my reflow I accidentally broke off a capacitor on my mobo. Here are the pics of my mobo:

The capacitor is numbered C2F3.
My research has found that the measured values are:
XBox 360 Encyclopedia
C2F3
Measured Values:
Rev -> Value
1.0 -> 3300uF 10V
1.1 ->
1.2 ->
1.3 ->
1.4 ->
1.5 ->
1.6 ->
However the capacitor reads 2.5V not 10V.

Does anyone know the exact values so I can replace it?
