Compression Apps for Xbox

Hey.

I think we need good compression apps for Xbox ie, WinRAR or Winzip that can be used to compress/decompress files off xbox fast & efficiently.

Being able to do this will rid the FTP time outs and such when FTP'ing thousands of small files. I have tried FTP'ing over RAR files & using Complex Tools and it works great other than Complex Tools is way to slow and cannot compress files.

if it was so easy someone would have probably done it already. i think it's a cool idea but i unno i'd think an app like that would have been made already if it was possible.

Avalaunch File manager can un-rar and unzip files into the same folder as the compressed file...also i think Unleashx can do the same.
Neither can make compressed files yet...but it's gotta be coming soon.

thats such a good idea, more stuff will be able to fit on your xbox! there should be a seriously powerful compressor/decompressor that compresses whole games to around 500mb or something! dam that would be good.

i think Unleashx can do the same.

yea UX can read zips and create zips

i havent really messed with it to much though
