make sure you don't screw either your board up on ur pc or your drive up on ur xbox360. i have vista and i can always get windows to recognize my drive once in mode b

Something similar happened to me and I have the same drive. When I restarted it went to some weird screen that gave me info about my computer's components but it wouldn't load Windows XP. I know the tutorial says to keep the SATA plugged in and to press the eject button a few times but since I couldn't get it to load like you I just unplugged the SATA cable and plugged it in as soon as Windows booted. The drive was detected in Windows like it's supposed to be and my flash was successful. The tutorial doesn't always work *exactly* the same way for everybody, it didn't when I did my MS28 either.
