Hi, I tried your tutorial to the letter. I still can't see my 360 in my Network tab. It does appear on my Network Map tho.

I have temporarily disabled any software firewalls, Kaspersky 2012 and Windows. I can't ping the 360 either, although I can ping my android phone. Samba is ticked and configured as ur tut. Local security policy has been amended as per tut also.

My router is a combined cable modem/router Netgear Super Hub (Virgin Media)

I can FTP into my 360. But I would also like to see it appear in my Network on windows just for completeness.

Thanks.

Hmmm, weird. My 360 appeared on my Network tab for a bit, then disappeared ?!?

What strange happenings. Anyways, I managed to map a network drive to it. So hopefully that will resolve that issue :)

Yeh, I seen your edit. All that is correct.

BTW I'm wifi to the 360. On my network map its shown as a dotted double green line.

Like I said, i can FTP to it even when it doesn't show up on my network tab. Strange.

Just turned my 360 on again, and its not shown up in the Network tab. Yet I can browse to it in explorer \\xbox360\hdd1 and it works. After that it pops up in my Network list. Strange.

I didn't need too.

The wifi settings are setup under the NXE dashboard. Hit the guide button and then System settings on one of the tabs.

I believe FSD will use what ever you set up in NXE.
Correct ,Thanks again !;)
