CONFUSED AND NEED HELP "PLEASE"

I just bought the SAMSUNG SH-D162C KREON 0.81 off of ebay. I have bee n doing alot of reading and I am a little confused. I know that the d162c will read the games, but do I need to do anything to my xbox 360? Does it need a modchip or will the games just play on the system. I am sorry for sounding so dump.

When running Xtreme boot maker, I am trying to import the xtream53.rar file in, and getting the error "import failed". I can open the .rar file and see all the files. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Ya it said the same thing to me when i tried using the newer firmware (5.3) the older one loaded fine for me so I just used that (5.2) and everything is working.
