LITEON 74850 CONFUSED AND STUCK

hi,
this may sound stupid but I have successfully flashed many drives now, but for some reason I'm having trouble doing my own, I have a 74850 lite-on, which after flashing and updating changed to the 02510 status, I flashed it but I cant remember the firmware I put on it, I know it wasn't LT+1.9 its the one before that, I've been playing my backup of tiger woods 12 so they dashboard was 13146 if I'm not mistaken, I just tried to update via USB, I downloaded the new update from the microsoft website, 13599 dashboard, I put it in my xbox, turned it on, I clicked on update now, it failed, dont know why, my drive was updated to the 02510 from the 74850, so I had a look on some other threads and saw, flash back to stock, update again, tried that, so I now have a 74850 drive with the 13146 dashboard, I am having a bit of trouble getting my head around this, so... I cant put LT+1.9 on as my drive cant update to the 02510 status?????:confused::confused::confused:
how do I get it to the 02510 status if i cant update via USB and I'm not on XBL
WOULD I NEED TO PUT IN A SPECIFIC GAME? IF SO WHICH ONE?
any ideas anyone:eek:

you need to flash to 02510 fw, if the usb update fails you can always plug in Ethernet cable and go to recover gamer tag then update to the newest dash

right, just flashed to stock which is the 74850, put dashboard update 13599 on USB, clicked on update and it said error, with a long error code

now my head is all over the shop :D

dashboard on my xbox says 13146

from the microsoft website? as that is where i had it from to start with:confused:

its called systemupdate13599_usb

load your dummy as source,you will get a pop up askin do you wish to auto lt plus,click no.
then click open target firmware and load the orig-02510C-1c000 as target,then click the spoof source to target tab,once you done that.
then click on the write tab.
then finish the update.

you will find the orig-02510C-1c000 in the liteon post 13141 folder in the firmware pack.

ok, i just looked in the 1.91 folder and there's stock firmware with that called 02510C-1c000, i tried to spoof to that and it said serial is bad or something, here's my log

ive just written stock 02510c firmware to my drive, so now i flash it again to lt+1.91
