Confused or what

Right i'm totally confused now.

Basically complete newbie and i've read all the guides and that's probaly why i'm confused now.

I've downloaded the latest bios for the x3 and flashbios 3.03.

I've also got a DVD of Slayer 2.6.

Question is which one do i use, the slayer dvd seems to have all the apps i need on it, will i be able to flash the latest bios onto the xbox with slayer ?.

Can i use both?

I'm using a router, know how to FTP and all that, blocked all the ports on my router so Live doesn't work.

Someone help i think i'm going mad.

wireless controller fixing Guide?

Is there a guide anywhere( I have looked) that can help me repair joypads. I have 3 that wont work correctly. 2 with left anolouge probs and 1 with the right. I have pulled them apart and they all look fine.
