Confused with bios for chip

i have the 5035 v1.6 for my xbox (v1.6...) and i was wondering if all i need to do is to burn the 5035 on a cd-r and put it in the xbox with the modchip intalled? ive read too many fourms about the same bios's and they say differents things are needed and im just confused. thx

you are mostly right. when you get the flash bios screen you can flash it from a cd. but to do this you need to get the bios, get dummy file, make a dummy file (around 200 Mb) and put the dummy file and the bios onto a cd-rw burnt at 2.4x or lower.
