Hi guys, I'm trying to understand the banning issue with xbox-live. I really love the idea of modding but No one knows? This is a modding site, I'm sure with this many people modding thier boxes, someone can tell me what has been and what hasn't been banned. I wanna mod to play burned games and emus. If so many people have done this, why does "No one" know if you'll get banned or not? What I wanna know is if I soft mod to run burned disks and keep a low profile about it, will I get banned? Is there a scan on live that will katch it? If so, are there other ways to mod that havent been cought yet?

right now the best way to not get banned is to use the newes ixtreme fimeware in you dvd drive with ALL your backup stealth patched.

I still dont really get why having our dvd drives modded is a reason to ban us, its not like its gonna save them any money, cheating is understandable. I say, they scan peoples boxes that get reported for cheating THEN ban them if thier modded, not just go ban crazy on everybody for no reason. It can still be automated.
