Please excuse I am very much an xbox novice... I got my 9 year a jtagged xbox with freestyle loader last year, its at his mums house (so I haven't played much with it apart from loading games)... He now wants to use a connect with it.. How do I do it (i'm good with wii's but totally novice with Xboxes any help would be gratefully recieved)

Hi - just update to the latest Freeboot dash (various ways of doing this) and ensure you include the Kinect/Avatar update. You then just connect the Kinect to the console. There's nothing more to do.

You might boot to FreeStyle, but it's just a front-end application.
Why not speak to the person who did this all for you? No offence, but my services are fully inclusive of aftercare and I would expect others to be too.

I provide aftercare also. If someone calls me and asks me to talk them through updating the dashboard then I will happily do that as well as assist them with any other queries that they have like setting the game paths, installing FSD or homebrew but if they want me to create a new freeboot image and update the console for them I do charge for updates. Its minimal but I do still charge for physical services.
To OP - Start by reading this but apply it to the latest dashboard. However first make sure you actually have a Jtag console and not rgh and if jtag what jtag method. Aud clamp or regular.
