Evox has its own LAN settings. They are not linked with X3 ConfLive LAN settings. If you have just installed Evox, ur IP would be set to 0.0.0.0. U need to config it correctly via the settings menu in Evox. When I first installed mine, I had the same problem. If you boot into X3 Config Live it uses the X3 lAN settings, then when u boot into Evox, it over-writes its own LAN settings. Hope that helped

hey,
Go into the SETTINGS menu in EvolutionX and change the network settings to DHCP.

Then reboot. Change the skin to one that shows the IP address. That's the address that you use to connect to.

Weird New Problem... *LOOK!*

So, after finally being able to flash the replacement drive, I face a new problem...

The drive loads and is able to read games, DVD's etc they launch but the game doesnt load fully and the green light in the middle of the console flashes continuously and the xbox restarts... i've checked all connections to the drive and they're inserted correctly.

does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

The drive and disc starts spinning and the game loads for about 5 seconds before the console flashes and restarts. Even now the 360 is on and on the dashboard the 360 is still flashing continuously....

Re: Weird New Problem... *LOOK!*

it seems to play DVD's fine, but will not launch any games. The games are read by the drive and attempt to start but the 360 ends up restarting.

I just flashed the drive with stock firmware using an old dummy.bin from the previous DVD drive.

did i do something wrong??

Got the same problem.

Sounds like the 360 is overheating which is why it restarts itself?
