Connecting to live with a modded xbox

I am a noob at xbox modding. I knew when I was done I wanted to be able to connect to live though. I have installed the X3 with the evox dashboard and have a new 250gig hard drive. All seems to be working fine, but before I tried to connect to live for the first time I wanted to make sure there was nothing else I need to do.

When I do connect I know I need to disable the chip and run the games from my disk drive, but Im not sure what an eprom is or if my new hard drive has one. The xbox was new and was never connected to live before it was modded.

Any information you can give would be great.

if u play a backup online,u will get BANNED. read in the forums. i hav written a thread just like this

Again I know I need to disable the chip, and play games from the CD/DVD disk drive. Could you post the link to your previous post.

Don't use live. Use Kai instead!
