Connecting Xbox through wireless network via PC

I have 4 PC's running on a wireless network connected to my 3 Com wireless router/modem. I want to connect my Xbox to the ethernet port on one of the PC's. Can someone talk me through the settings to get the Xbox to connect to the net via the PC's ethernet connection.

I cant seem to get the Xbox to be seen by the PC and I know its a config problem but just cant work out the settings.

Ok assuming you are talking about.... <router> )))))) <pc> ---- <xbox>
Where ))) is wireless and ---- is a cross over cable to your xbox...

This is all assuming you are using windows xp and already have the internet working on your PC.

And you have to be using a CROSSOVER cable with your xbox - pc connection.

Go to "View Network Connections" select both your wireless and ethernet connections and right click and make a network bridge.

That should be all you have to do

I had tried to bridge the ethernet connection to the wirless connection but it just didnt seem to work. It seems as though there is a problem asigning an IP address to the Ethernet connection and it shows "!" on the ethernet connection and says it has limited or no connection.

I guess I will have to play with the connection settings.
I did google for it but seem to get so many varying answers I thought someone may have an easy solution.

when you bridge the two connections do they have to have the same IP addresses (similar)
