Hi,

Currently I have my Xbox 360 connected via HDMI to my LG TV.

I wanted to see if there was a way I could also connect it to my Acer 22" LED Monitor (mainly if the Mrs wants to watch the TV I can switch display).

Would this setup work:

Xbox 360 >> HDMI Switcher >>
Port 1 : HDMI to LG TV for Video and Sound
Port 2 : HDMI to DVI w/ Audio Ports to connect to Monitor and Speakers

So I could use the switcher to go between my TV for audio and video, then my PC Monitor for display (with speakers for audio).

It's mainly so I don't need to unplug any cables and switch around I can do it all with a remote/switcher.

Thanks,

:)

Thanks,

I have it set up just now that in my AV port I have the Xbox VGA Cable plugged in but I don't have the VGA into the computer, I have just the RCA audio cables plugged into the AUX port on my PC Speakers which means I am now getting volume for my xbox through the PC speakers which is great.

So now all I need to find out is if I bought a HDMI Switcher and plugged it into the Xbox rather than the TV, can I use the two ports to switch between Monitor and TV (rather than there method of plugging into a TV and switching between Xbox and PS3 etc.)??

Thanks

the switch generally just acts like any switch and connects one single connection to a possibility of two others, it can be connected in reverse
