Connectivity Kit/Blaster360 etc Detectable?

I have a 360 with a Sammy ms28 drive that I flashed a few days before they started banning people using a Blaster360 that I fitted. Used it on live a few times but as soon as the bans started I flashed it back to original & removed the Blaster360. So far I have not been banned, so hoping I was missed/not detected or whatever.

I am now thinking about fitting the Blaster360 again and re-flashing with the new iXtreme fw. I was wandering whether the Blaster360 itself is detectable, or any connectivity kit for that matter? As the Blaster360 is constantly connected between the SATA socket on the motherboard and the SATA socket on the back of the DVD Drive of the 360.

Can they detect whether hardware such as this has been added, or simply if the original hardware has been modified (or had it's fw modified) or a backup game is being played?

Cheers. :)

its m$ dont underestimate them.

after that

i have a v25 and a v28 both with a blaster360(got the blaster when they came out) and the new firmware.both have played on live fine.
i think people believe it was the backups that m$ picked up (not stealth patched) not the hardware.

Good to know you use it and have survived the banhammer! So far (fingers crossed). Looks like, for now at least, the people that got banned were people who were a little lazy making their backups, or people playing old backups that were not stealthed correctly such as later ones made with XBC.

Thanks for the info.
