Hello,
I've done my 3rd rgh and searched alot on the forum to see what's going on but it's not booting anymore.

Here's what I did:
Soldered qsbs, took 2 nand dumps and compared, no difference. followed FiB3R's Glitch guide, got to the last part and flashed using xell.

At first, I tried to boot Xell from dvd button, it worked great, with a good glitch time. Then, I tried to boot to nxe. No video signal.

I've searched on the forum and tried to boot with hard drive, still no signal but I can boot Xell. I tought, maybe there's something wrong with the nand, but I'm able to close the console using the controller holding guide button for 3secs, up arrow and A. So the dashboard is running, there's just No video signal.

I tried with AV instead of HDMI but still the same and remember, Xell is showing up.

I told myself let's see if my original nand is still ok. Flashed it back using nandpro 3.0 with this command line:

Code:
nandpro usb: -w16 originalnand.bin
Coolrunner glitches and console boot without video signal. I'm stuck.
:(

Could it be my solderings? I had a hard time with the green cable "PLL BYPASS" when soldering it, but got it to stick well using flux and then I've put some hot glue on it. I did the same on two other boxes and it worked just fine. If this cable correctly soldered, can the console book xell?

I also verified the LDv's on original nand and on flash, but I did not update anything between reading and flashing... both nands show 11 on 360 Flash Tool.

Note: I'll take some pictures of the soldering later but everything is glued so we won't see if its bad or good for some points.

Any suggestion?

Xell is booting so your wiring is correct. Did you route the wires like the 2nd to last pic in this post? Which motherboard revision is it? Have you tried a different tool to create the glitched image? Also, try flashing the glitch image with nandpro instead of through Xell.

Batman's Cave
1)try different program to make the freeboot/gg build .
2)wrong cpukey when trying to make the freeboot/gg build.
3)bad connection with the nandx.

:/ next time when u perform a rgh i recommend to use electrical tape not glue.

Hello it's me (gableroux) My account seems flagged and I made two posts because I were having a weird server error.

Yeah, sorry about that, It's me again, I'm having troubles with my account (gableroux) I was getting "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later" and I tried to post this since yesterday... I'm here with a dead xbox and I couldn't get any help because my account seems flagged or I don't know.

I didn't realise I successfully posted at first and found I was in the wrong section.

About the noob flag: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73434

I just made a new account to be able to say something because being unable to speak will not help myself, and I used that search buttom so much that it's the main reason why I don't have much posts...
By the way thanks for the quick reply, I took care of not putting cables around the four points in the last picture. See my pictures.

I'm not sure it's a good thing to put some hot glue directly on the solderings, but I really had to do this on the smaller soldering because I missed the soldering wasn't good, compared to the ones I did before on other consoles. (my hand shaked a little at the wrong moment).

This board is a Retail Zephyr (v2.0) 2BL[CB] 4578 as told by Flash Dump Tool v0.95 from the original nand. Identified Zephyr with this picture: http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/8560/identifypowerjtglitchv1.png

TX Forum isn't cool for noobs, I can't edit my posts :/ I s*ck at english too.. Anyway, about the software, I used exactly what's told in FiB3R's guide (used 360_Multi_Builder_v0.7) but I'll try with bestpig or Jtag Tool tonight.

Reread your post and realized that I missed something. You can turn your xbox off with the controller. Can you hear the sounds of moving through the menus? Try the AV cable with it set on TV and connect the yellow plug (If you haven't already done so). If that doesn't work you could try on a different TV. It could be that, by flashing the nand, the video settings have reset and they are now incompatible with your TV.

I already tried that, but I will try this on an other tv, and I also have the audio outpu adapter so I'll plug in headphons in there just in case. Thanks alot for trying to solve this out, I really appreciate.

Indeed, this is an important point, MS dash seems to be running in the background, I can turn off xbox using guide button (I'd edit my post for saying this but I can't atm).

Update:
Thank you so much! It worked! I tried with an other tv, I made sure the hdtv/tv toggle was set to tv and I used red white and yellow to plug in, ms dashboard said hello :D. Using prefs, I set tv settings to 1080p and I think I'm good to go.

I'll sleep a lot better tonight because of you. I'll send back the modded nand and I'll tell you if it's ok tomorrow.

Ok, Everything is solved now, I had to reset display settings on ms dash holding [Left Trigger] + [Y] on boot, then I set screen resolution to 1920x1080 and wait a few seconds. Voila :)
Thanks a lot to srt4fun and XPkiller, console running like a charm with instant boot!
