HITACHI 79 console drive swap

I have a liteon drive but don't want to get the necessary tools to flash it (Liteons are a pain in the ass) and I also have a Hitachi drive that I could flash quite easily I do not play on live but I plan on playing XGD3 games so 1) can I use the Hitachi drive on this console it is retail but I have it's DVD key and 2) what is necessary to burn an XGD3 game for lt 2.0 as I have a Hitachi 79 drive and 3.0 is not out yet

No, this kind of swap cannot be done. Also, Liteons are not hard at all with the right gear. By your own admission, you are unwilling to do it correctly, so either give up, or take it to a pro.
