Console that is patched

acording to this thread your console is "definitly" patched.
while there is said to be a p.o.c. exploit for patched consoles, it has not been released to the public yet,
so currently, no you cant hack your console, however tx announced a while ago that it's working on releasing a fully working exploit in the future (tm).

I would still run through the guide posted above anyways. You never know, users have reported having "patched" serial numbers, but still able to run CFW. They could of course be lying, but you lose nothing running through that guide quickly. You really only need tegraRCMgui to see if the Switch will go into RCM mode.

Thank you.

I'm trying to get started hekate ctcaer 4.6 the TegraRcmGUI_v2.5 program displays Payload successfully injected, but the console screen is black does not start hekate.
I'm with FW 7.0.1.

(.....
initialized successfully!
Uploading payload (mezzo size: 92, user size: 126051, total size: 192267, total padded size: 192512)...
Smashing the stack!
Smashed the stack with a 0x0000 byte SETUP request!
Payload successfully injected)

Does it make sense to try with hekate v4.8

False Information
I highly doubt that anyone would be able to "run" CFW when they had made the changes to the Nvidia Tegra processors.

The way the injections work, will be 100% prevent by this method with the patched switches.
Trying to run Hekate, with the patched units atm, can potentially lead to being bricked.

Do not attempt it if you don't want a dead device.

It may be patched. The fact that it is on 7.0 will not help anything either. Like I said it's possible that some are not patched even though the serial says it is. I would test again after 7.0 is supported by SX or just try to find one that is not in the "patched" serial range.

@SwiNx Can you link to information that proves testing if a Switch is patched by trying to boot to RCM will cause it to brick?

This is not true!
This is complete bullshit!

My console is patched.
Over 10 times I used RCM, Hekate, ...
And my console is not a brick!

I am also interested in the source of this information.

Attempting to run the fusee gelee exploit on a patched unit does not cause damage.

If you are going to spread information like this I suggest you include your source as we don't allow users to spread false information here.

@SwiNx - Please elaborate on this
Are you joking?
What source do you want? :D
Do not read what I'm writing.
I tested it several times and my console is not a brick! :D
You do need to know best, or you're waiting for someone to tell you if it's safe. :D:D

Oh, I know it's safe.

I just want this user to explain why they think it's okay to share misinformation here. If no explanation is given I will just issue a warning and move along.
Well, I'm glad you flagged that post; the author clearly does not understand RCM
