someone on an other forum said, if going CR4 I should just do a new build.. whatever that means lol
If you have a CR3 PRO/Lite or RGX or whatever, you can use that xbox, you'll have to rebuild the nand, but that's not a problem

You connect JR-Programmer to the External Adapter. The JR-Programmer does have a USB port. But I still don't get it, with a demon is cheaper and easier.

You need the JRP because you need some Hardware to Write the nand, JRP is between your pc and the adapter

so what is this then? I am so confused, I am gettin gthe JRP as well but what is that for??
I have two JRP cables, one with the headers and one whitout, if you work doing RGH's and you have a customer that just wants the CR4XL, you don't install the QSB and just solder the wires without the headers. JRP is used also to program CoolRunners and to use "RATER" a feature to measure how goo your install is.

Basically, The JRP flashes the nand, the QSB and adapter is used just to connect the JRP when the console is closed.

so I shouldnt get the TX EXTERNAL ADAPTER FOR NANDX / JR PROGRAMMER QSB V3? cause I want to flash the nand when its closed, its the whole point I want it :) lol what I dont get is how do you flash the nand when your console is closed, with the adapter? sorry you're probably going what a noob lol.. I get the JR PROGRAMMER, but what is the adapter for

Ok let me say what I think, cause we will be here back and fourth trying to make me understand with my stupid brain, I thought Jr programmer, is installed in the console.. and the adapter outside the the console to allow to do nand stuff without opening the console.

just use JR PROGRAMMER? seen a picture of Jr programmer being installed an and put on the outside of the case, is this what you're talking about?

My brain is sore right now, I just dont understand.. JR RUNNER I get... but if the adapter is for doing flashing nands etc while console is closed, then where's the USB port? this is what I do not understand.

You connect the JRP to the PC and to the Adapter. That's the first step.
Then you open JRunner, a pc app made by TX, that recognizes the JRP and flashes the nand.

You lost me again, I thought I worked it out... god this isn't working, getting annoyed with my self now... i know how to work j runner etc how can you connect the JRP if its already in the closed console... wait so the Jr programmer stays out the console?

so wait Jr programmer doesn't get installed into the console, so when its closed you connect JR PROGRAMMER OUTSIDE to the adapter? is that correct? then USB to pc? from the jr programmer.

Because the JRp is not inside the console, look at my "diagram", JRP is not inside of the console

Does this clarify it? It's not the same install but think that the Adapter is there.EDIT:

Yeah, what you just posted is correct.
