If you have a CR3 PRO/Lite or RGX or whatever, you can use that xbox, you'll have to rebuild the nand, but that's not a problemsomeone on an other forum said, if going CR4 I should just do a new build.. whatever that means lol

You connect JR-Programmer to the External Adapter. The JR-Programmer does have a USB port. But I still don't get it, with a demon is cheaper and easier.question for the TX EXTERNAL ADAPTER FOR NANDX / JR PROGRAMMER QSB V3, i dont get it... I understand it, but how do you connect it to your computer? there's no usb port.
I need a picture cause I am so confused lol, isn't the jr programmer in the console? thought jr programmer had to be installed solderd evenYou connect JR-Programmer to the External Adapter. The JR-Programmer does have a USB port. But I still don't get it, with a demon is cheaper and easier.

Think about it, any other question, I'll be here to help you
You need the JRP because you need some Hardware to Write the nand, JRP is between your pc and the adapterI do understand the USB part, but what I mean is, the j runner in the console,
![]()
but this is what sits outside the console, so I thought you connect that , as that's the point right? bet I am being dumb right now
so what is this then? I am so confused, I am gettin gthe JRP as well but what is that for??You need the JRP because you need some Hardware to Write the nand, JRP is between your pc and the adapter
I have two JRP cables, one with the headers and one whitout, if you work doing RGH's and you have a customer that just wants the CR4XL, you don't install the QSB and just solder the wires without the headers. JRP is used also to program CoolRunners and to use "RATER" a feature to measure how goo your install is.so what is this then? I am so confused, I am gettin gthe JRP as well but what is that for??
so I shouldnt get the TX EXTERNAL ADAPTER FOR NANDX / JR PROGRAMMER QSB V3? cause I want to flash the nand when its closed, its the whole point I want itI have two JRP cables, one with the headers and one whitout, if you work doing RGH's and you have a customer that just wants the CR4XL, you don't install the QSB and just solder the wires without the headers. Basically, The JRP flashes the nand, the QSB and adapter is used just to connect the JRP when the console is closed.
Look, I am going to show you my mad paint skills.so I shouldnt get the TX EXTERNAL ADAPTER FOR NANDX / JR PROGRAMMER QSB V3? cause I want to flash the nand when its closed, its the whole point I want itlol what I dont get is how do you flash the nand when your console is closed, with the adapter?
You connect the JRP to the PC and to the Adapter. That's the first step.sorry but I just can't get my head around it, I know what it does, but what I dont get it, is how to do use it to read/ write nands etc when closed.. about to burst in rage lol
You lost me again, I thought I worked it out... god this isn't working, getting annoyed with my self now... i know how to work j runner etc how can you connect the JRP if its already in the closed console... wait so the Jr programmer stays out the console? You connect the JRP to the PC and to the Adapter. That's the first step.
Then you open JRunner, a pc app made by TX, that recognizes the JRP and flashes the nand.
Because the JRp is not inside the console, look at my "diagram", JRP is not inside of the consoleYou lost me again, I thought I worked it out... god this isn't working, getting annoyed with my self now... i know how to work j runner etc how can you connect the JRP if its already in the closed console...
