Well I got to solve this one after work.

Got a slim, I turned on before RGH and seemed all good.

Did not test a controller with it.

I RGHed it and it boots.

It comes up to the screen with the picture of the controller on it. I press the Guide button as it shows on the screen.

After I press the guide button, the picture on the screen changes and says press A button.

At this point the console does not respond to pressing the A button. I cannot hold in the guide button and get the option to shutdown controller, console, and turn off controller.

Do you think the console is freezing at this point? Could it be something else? I tried one last thing before I went to bed last night and tried a different RF board and that did not fix it.

I am gonna try to restore stock when I get home and see if it works without RGH, if so then I figure its freezing. Also I think it might of froze on the picture showing the picture to press the guide button.

I am thinking maybe its my CPU_RST cable if anything as I have had my console freeze before due to this.

Anyone have any suggestions to anything else it could possibly be? The system seems to glitch most times within 2-3 glitches. Sometimes after first. I got a 50ohm cable I could try as well.

Not really - initial thought is either wiring or bad image. There's not much to go on from what you've already said.
Yea I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything else that could cause it to freeze, I am pretty sure its a freeze because IR remote doesn't work either. Didn't know if there is something I could blow on the MOBO that assists with the controller working. The controller will still sync up with the system after turning it off and back on during the suspected time of freezing.

My first plans are to flash back to stock and disable CR rev B and see if controller is still an issue.

Then my second plan is to make a new image and reflash, and then 50ohm CPU_RST. Is there any other wiring that can cause freezing or is CPU_RST usually the culprit?

Stuck here at work for another 5 hours...

Must of been bad image.

Flashed back to stock.

Controller worked.

Rebuilt a new image.
Flashed.

Controller works again!

Thanks for the idea, so simple why didn't I think of that!
