COntroller not working

I installed my chip and eveything, and then when i load up the OS, the controller is not working, I'm using the original controller but i cant choose anything, dpad not workin. nothing, I check the connections over and over, plz help. thanx

Not the best place for your post mate you will get a lot more help in X3 install forum. The main things we need to know are what version xbox do you have. When did you buy the xbox was it as part of the xmas deal? Where are you in the chipping stage have you installed the x3 bios or are you booting to the blue flashbios screen and have you checked your soldering! Best if you repost in the install section with this relevant info
