controller not working

I have an Xecuter 3 CE + Xapt3r v1.6 installed.
When i turn the xbox on, the external switch turns blue and i get the FlashBIOS 3.03 screen. The controller does not work at all. All 4 ports don't work.
I can't scroll up or down, the A button does not work
Yes it is an original xbox controller and my controller port are plug.

What is wrong?

If i boot to the ms dashboard with the chip disable, the controller works fine.

I have seen sometimes they don't work. You could try another original controller, no mem cards or anything in the other ports. You can also try the dvd kit, this has worked.

I had the same problem, use the DVD Dongle Kit, it should work like a charm.
