Controller ports as USB ports

I know tht the controler ports are just USB ports with diff plugs, but what version USB.

Also, I bought an X3 Pro Switch but the LAN and HDD lights don't light up. I used the cable that came with my X3 to plug it in and eerything else works, do i need to sodder them induvidually to the board?

1. v1.0 or 1.1, I forget.

2. Yes you have to solder the wires to the bottom of the mobo. Look at the install guide, link on the main page.

I see, sodder the green/red wire to the board, plug it into chip, the cable going from chip to switch will carry the feed to light them up.
