Controllers are acting up

I bought an XBOX that was modded 2 years ago. It loads with Executer 2.0 then avalaunch. I'm not sure how it all works. For some resaon the controllers are not funtioning correctly. Is there a reset or somethong available.

They become non-responsive.

you could try a different controller if have not already, maybe reinstall your dashboard. If possible take apart your xbox and check all the connections and make sure your chip is in there right still. just look for some obvious errors?
